Bewley's Hotel in Ballsbridge, Dublin, was evacuated overnight after a fire broke out in the laundry room area.

No injuries were reported among guests or staff.

Four fire engines attended the scene on Simmonscourt Road.

It is understood the fire was brought under control at around midnight.

A spokeswoman for Bewley's Hotel said their primary concern is always for the safety and well-being of guests and staff.

She said: "All systems are restored and are working normally. It is business as usual in the hotel today."
