Tom McFeely faces jail over breach of court order

Bankrupt developer Tom McFeely faces imprisonment after a court was told he failed to reveal assets in the Isle of Man.

Dublin District Court heard there were considerable gaps in the documentation submitted by Mr McFeely regarding the assets.

He was in court because of a debt of over €24,000 to personnel company MCR.

He had previously faced three months in jail for failing to pay the money in instalments.

The order was lifted last month after he agreed to submit a statement of means.

Barrister Benedict Ó Floinn for MCR said there had been a breach of court orders and that Mr McFeely would be facing imprisonment.

Mr McFeely's solicitor Jason Kelly said his client had been declared bankrupt.

But Mr Ó Floinn said this was an issue of disobedience to the court rather than bankruptcy.

Judge Mary Collins adjourned the case until 30 October and Mr McFeely was given a week to file a statement of means.
