Belfast man murdered in 'vicious assault'

Police investigating the death of a man in Belfast two days ago have launched a murder inquiry.

Two men are being questioned about the murder of George Gray.

The body of the 52-year-old was discovered in his flat in the Cregagh Road area of Belfast.

The PSNI said Mr Gray had been subjected to a "vicious assault".

Investigators said he was a quiet man who kept to himself and enjoyed football.
