A 13-year-old girl has been killed in a horse riding accident in Co Derry.
The girl, named locally as Hannah Wiley, from Artigarvan in Co Tyrone, was killed while taking part in an event at Eglinton Equestrian Club in Co Derry last night.
It is understood her horse fell on her after going over a jump.
The incident was originally referred to the Northern Ireland Health and Safety Executive but the HSE said Derry City Council was now taking the lead in investigating.
Elsewhere, in Co Down a man's body has been found in the sea close to Ardglass Harbour.
Police are investigating circumstances of the death.
A post mortem examination will be carried out.
