Police in Mauritius have asked for more time to investigate a case involving a former security guard at the hotel where Michaela McAreavey was murdered.
Dassen Naraynen, 27, who worked at the Legends Hotel, appeared in court this morning accused of conspiracy to commit larceny.
He was originally charged with the Co Tyrone woman's murder, but this was later dropped.
In court today, his lawyer said the current charge against his client should no longer hold. The case has been postponed until 12 October.
