Thousands gather for Orange Order parade in Donegal

A crowd of 5,000 people gathered in the village of Rossnowlagh in Co Donegal today for a parade by the Orange Order.

The parade takes place on the Saturday before 12 July.

It draws lodges from throughout Northern Ireland and the Republic, as well as visiting overseas lodges.

There are 50 lodges in the Republic and the Rossnowlagh parade is the only one the Orange Order holds in the country.
