A nursing home in Dublin last night took in evacuated residents from a nearby apartment complex where there was a fire.
Residents of an apartment complex in Shankill, Co Dublin took refuge in nearby nursing home Beechfield Manor last night, after a fire broke out in their development.
The fire was reported just before 9pm after a television caught fire in one of the apartments.
Residents were allowed back to their homes after fire fighters extinguished the blaze and the area was declared safe.
There were no injuries.
