The funerals of the father and his two children who died in their home in Moygara near Gurteen in Co Sligo on Sunday night will take place in Manchester in the new year.
The bodies of 50-year-old Trevor Wallwork, his daughter Kim, 12, and son Harry, 9, remain at Sligo General Hospital.
Post mortem examinations on Monday indicated that they died as a result of carbon monoxide inhalation.
The family came from the Manchester area to Sligo about six years ago.
It is the wish of Mr Wallwork's wife, Sue, who is currently ill in hospital, that their remains are returned to England and buried together.
Arrangements are being made with authorities and relatives of the family in England.
Dates have not yet been finalised but it is understood that it will be January before the funerals take place.
