Man killed in road collision in Cork

A pedestrian in his 20s was killed when struck by a truck on the N20 near Newtwopothouse in Cork around 4pm.

His body has been removed to Cork University Hospital.

The driver of the truck was uninjured.

The road has been closed for an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and local diversions are in place.
