An Irish designer is recycling presidential election posters by turning them into bird houses.
Fergus O'Neill said Fine Gael has provided a number of Gay Mitchell posters for the project, but so far the other parties have yet to respond to his request.
He is selling the birdhouses for €10 each, with proceeds going to BirdWatch Ireland.
