Four IT companies are to create up to 165 jobs in Dublin and Galway over the next couple of years.
Canadian technology company Pivot AC will provide 100 jobs in Galway when it opens a support centre; 25 jobs are being created to the end of this year and up to another 75 next year.
Positions available include information technology, software development, finance, international customer support, process innovation, project management, and marketing operations.
Meanwhile, three US-based technology companies - Engine Yard, Pinger and Commence - are establishing their international headquarters in Dublin, creating up to 65 jobs in the coming years.
Engine Yard should create 30 jobs, Pinger should create 15 and it is expected Commence will provide 20 jobs.
Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Richard Bruton welcomed the announcements.
