The unemployment rate in Northern Ireland increased to 7.3% for the period from April to June.
The rate remains below the EU average of 9.3% and the Irish rate of 14%.
A rate of 6.7% was recorded in the same period last year.
Almost half of those unemployed in Northern Ireland have been jobless for at least 12 months.
The unemployment rate for 18 to 24-year-olds is 17%.
