A man in his late 20s has died after a road crash in Co Monaghan this morning.
The single-vehicle collision happened at about 5.45am when the car hit a ditch in the townland of Killacorn, Emyvale.
The driver was seriously injured and was taken to Cavan General Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
There were four other males in the car at the time, but all escaped with minor injuries.
