The body of a man has been discovered in an apartment in Limerick city.
The man, believed to have been in his early 60s, was discovered at a room in Corbrac House on Mulgrave Street this morning.
It is understood the building provides sheltered accommodation for a number of individuals, and the discovery was made by a caretaker.
The Office of the State Pathologist has been informed and a post mortem will be carried out to determine how the man died.
Gardaí have begun an investigation and are conducting interviews in the area to establish the man’s identity and when he may have been seen last.
