A woman has been killed and another woman injured in a single vehicle collision in Co Kilkenny.
Gardaí say the crash happened at Templemartin on the link road between Kilkenny city and the M9 at around 6.40pm.
The woman who died was 68 years old and was a front seat passenger in the car, while the driver was injured but not seriously.
The road was closed while a forensic examination was taking place, but has since reopened.
