Two children are being treated in hospital after a road accident in Co Mayo this afternoon.
The two girls, aged six and ten, were struck by a car near Mulranny Village.
They were taken to Castlebar General Hospital where the six-year-old girl is said to be in a serious condition. The other girl is not thought to be seriously injured.
The road has re-opened.
