A young boy remains in a critical condition in hospital after an accident at the Leisureland swimming pool in Salthill, Co Galway.
The four-year-old boy got into difficulty in the public pool yesterday afternoon.
He was taken by ambulance to University Hospital Galway where he remains in the intensive care unit.
