A pedestrian has died following a collision in Roscommon.
The man, who was in his early 20s, was hit by a car at around 4am.
It happened between Boyle and Carrick-on-Shannon on the N4.
The scene was sealed off for a forensic examination.
Gardai have appealed for witnesses.
