Gardaí have issued an appeal for witnesses to a road crash in Dublin in which a woman was seriously injured.
The single-vehicle crash happened on the N81 Dublin to Blessington road at about 1am yesterday morning.
It is thought the woman lost control of her car at the Cheeverstown junction and crashed into a barrier before landing in a ditch.
The woman was taken to Tallaght Hospital, where she remains in a critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit.
