Hairdressing chain Toni & Guy is to close four salons with the loss of 35 jobs.
The salons, located in Cork, Kilkenny, Dame St and South William St in Dublin, have been put into voluntary liquidation as part of a restructuring plan to secure the future of the business.
Employees have been invited to apply for a number of jobs available across the other salons.
The company has assured customers who have vouchers that they can be used across the remaining nine salons.
In 2007 an examiner was appointed to Toni & Guy Ireland.
The company was restructured when the Toni & Guy Group, the UK parent of the hairdressing business, took a 50% interest in the Irish operation.
