Record low for Fianna Fáil in Red C poll

The latest opinion poll shows that support for Fine Gael and Labour remains strong, while Fianna Fáil's support has dropped slightly.

The Red C poll in tomorrow's Sunday Business Post shows a one point drop for Fianna Fáil, to another record low in a Red C poll.

The poll was carried out among 1,000 voters nationwide on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

It shows that since the last Red C poll a month ago, support for Fianna Fáil has dropped from 18% to 17%.

It is the second month in a row the party has hit a record low in the poll.

Fine Gael is up one to 33%, Labour is unchanged at 27%, the Greens drop one to 3% and Sinn Féin support is up two points to 11% - their best Red C result in 18 months.

Support for Independents and others, meanwhile, has dropped two to 8%.
