Fine Gael Leader Enda Kenny has called on the people of Donegal South West not to focus on local issues in the upcoming by-election but to speak for the country.
Launching Cllr Barry O'Neill's election campaign in Donegal this afternoon, Mr Kenny said the by-election is an opportunity for the people of Donegal South West to speak for Ireland.
He said people were very angry at the way their money has been lost and how ‘their careers and the careers of their children have been thwarted by incompetence’.
Mr Kenny asked people to channel their anger and voice for Ireland through the candidacy of Mr O'Neill.
