Dublin shooting victim dies in hospital

A 30-year-old man who was injured in a shooting in Dublin at the weekend has died in hospital.

Robert Ryle was shot up to six times in Foxdene Park in Clondalkin on Sunday evening.

He was taken to Tallaght Hospital and had emergency surgery for chest and neck injuries.

However, Mr Ryle died at the hospital this morning.

Gardaí have renewed an appeal for information. They want anyone with information to contact them at Ronanstown Garda Station on 01-6667700.
