Air traffic at Dublin Airport continues to decline as final preparations are made for the opening of the T2 terminal next month.
Figures from the Irish Aviation Authority show that traffic declined 2% in September, but it is down 10% so far this year compared with last year.
Traffic was also lower at the other two main airports last month, with Shannon down 29% and Cork down 9%.
The Irish Aviation Authority says overall air traffic to and from the main Irish airports is still declining, but the rate of decline has eased.
Overall, traffic through Irish airspace was up nearly 6% in September.
