The 130 former employees at Keelings Distribution in Ballymun are to be offered jobs by the company that was awarded a Tesco contract that led to them being laid off.
Keelings Distribution Limited, who distributed chilled and frozen food for Tesco Ireland, announced today that they are laying-off the workers following the loss of the contract.
In a statement, Keelings Distribution said all employees impacted by today's announcement will be offered jobs with the new contractor.
There will be no impact on pay benefits or service, it added.
The SIPTU union said it was seeking a meeting with the company.
