Five men have been arrested and two firearms have been recovered in a PSNI operation in west Belfast.
A police spokesperson said the arrests were made after a car was stopped in the Falls Road area at around 10pm last night.
The police operation is believed to be linked to an earlier incident in the St James Road area.
The five were taken to Antrim Serious Crime Suite for questioning.
