River Lagan - Man reported missing yesterday

The 22-year-old Belfast man who was missing in the river Lagan since yesterday has been named as Michael Young from the Rosetta area of the city.

Police divers recovered his body near the Cutter's Wharf area this afternoon, close to where he and four other men entered the water at around 6am yesterday.

The others were treated in hospital but their injuries were not serious.

Mr Young's body has been removed for a post mortem.
