The Government was accused of failing to honour its commitments to victims of the Dublin and Monaghan bombings during a wreath laying ceremony to mark the 36th anniversary of the attacks today.
33 people died on 17 May 1974 but no-one has ever been charged and the British government has refused to release security files on the bombings.
Today a wreath was laid at the memorial in Talbot Street in a ceremony attended by the Lord Mayor of Dublin and Cathaoirleach of Monaghan Town Council.
The Government was criticised for stopping its funding for the Justice for the Forgotten Group a year ago.
Spokeswoman for the group Margaret Urwin said the Government was failing to honour its commitment to victims made under the Good Friday Agreement.
'The Government is willing to talk about the rights of victims in the North but their actions speak louder than their words South of the border. They just don't want to know us'.
