Seven people were yesterday rescued from cliffs at Howth Head in Dublin.
The rescue took place at around 7pm when the teenagers became trapped at the end of a cliff near the Baily Lighthouse.
The seven had been caught out by both the incoming tide and fading light.
No-one was injured in the incident.
Colin Murray of Howth Coast Guard said the teenagers were taken to safety after a three-hour rescue operation.
