Police in Dubai have said the Hamas figure murdered in a luxury hotel last month had been drugged and then suffocated.
Dubai suspects the Israeli intelligence agency, Mossad, of being responsible for the death of Mahmoud al-Mabhouh, something Tel Aviv has neither confirmed nor denied.
The killing sparked an international diplomatic row after it was revealed that the hit squad used fake Irish and British - as well as other EU and Australian - passports.
