Over 200 former Dell workers along with other redundant workers have protested in Limerick to highlight their frustration in accessing the European Globalisation Fund.
The €23m EGF is designed to help workers to retrain, to upskill and to provide funds for small business start-ups.
It is being administered by an office set up in Limerick and is run by FÁS.
However, former workers are angry that their social welfare entitlements could be affected by accessing the funds.
They have also accused FÁS of tying the fund up in red tape by not allowing redundant workers use the funds to access courses in private colleges.
