Twelve people have been hurt after a suspected gas explosion ripped through a block of flats in Shrewsbury, England.
UK police are investigating the cause of the blast but said several people reported smelling gas beforehand.
Two of the 12 injured were seriously hurt, police said.
Police described a scene of 'total devastation' and said the building in the Shropshire town had been flattened by the blast.
