Six units of the Dublin fire brigade attended the scene of a fire in the basement car park of a multi-storey apartment block in Sandyford this morning.
The outbreak at Beacon South Quarter was reported at around 1.45am.
An estimated 300 people had to leave the building during the emergency.
It is understood that at least one car went on fire, triggering fire and smoke alarms throughout the complex.
No one was injured and little damage was caused.
The all-clear was given at about 3.30am.
