Northern Ireland's Parades Commission is to allow 40 loyalist bands to march through the Co Antrim village of Rasharkin next Friday.

Sinn Féin has criticised the decision and nationalist residents of the predominantly Catholic village are to stage a protest.

Local Sinn Féin MLA Daithí McKay claimed the Commission's decision will damage community relations.

However, DUP MLA Ian Paisley Junior said the bands have a right to parade in Rasharkin.
