One man has died and another is in a critical condition following a workplace accident earlier today.
The accident happened at Drummonds Feeds at Knockbridge in Co Louth.
Terry Brennan, 19, from Knockbridge was overcome with fumes while working in a silo.
He was rushed to the Louth County Hospital, Dundalk but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Two other men were also injured in the accident.
They are both in hospital this evening and one of the men is said to be in a critical condition.
A company spokesperson offered its deepest sympathies to the Brennan family and said they were praying for the recovery of the other two workers.
The Health and Safety Authority and gardaí are investigating the cause of the accident.
