Sinn Féin Stormont Minister and MP Conor Murphy had to evacuate his home after an arson attack on it early today.
Two cars were damaged in the attack on the family home in Camlough in south Armagh.
There was also scorch damage to a number of windows.
The politician's house was also vandalised with paint.
