A man has died following an industrial accident in Dublin.
Gardaí and the Health and Safety Authority have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of the 40-year-old.
The accident happened at about 3.10pm at an industrial estate on Citywest Avenue.
The man was taken to Tallaght Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
The scene has been preserved for a technical examination.
