A fire at a derelict building in Dublin city centre has been brought under control.

Three units of Dublin Fire Brigade fought the blaze at the building off Jervis Street.

Up to 20 people believed to be homeless were taken from the building by rescue services but there were no injuries.

LUAS services in the city centre were disrupted for a while but have resumed.
