Five units of Dublin Fire Brigade are tackling a large fire at a waste treatment facility in Dublin after it had earlier been extinguished.
The blaze broke out at Greyhound Recycling and Recovery on Crag Avenue in Clondalkin Industrial Estate at around 1.30am this morning and staff were evacuated from the site.
It is not clear yet how the fire started but it was brought under control earlier today but has since re-ignited.
There have been no injuries and the extent of the damage is not known at this stage.
Greyhound Recyling and Recovery says the fire broke out in a shed that contains material for recycling and processing equipment.
The company said none of the material it collects is hazardous and, although smoke is blowing around the area, there is no danger to the public.
Greyhound says it will carry out an inquiry into how the fire started.
