Five people were rescued from Carrantuohill after an overnight operation, which was carried out by the Kerry Mountain Rescue team.
The four women and man lost their way and became stranded in an area known as Luigi's Gully at around 9.30pm last night.
Tim Murphy from Kerry Mountain Rescue said this was the second rescue in the same area in recent weeks.
None of the five needed medical assistance.
