Members of Dublin City Council have voted to adopt a budget for 2009 which will see major cuts in a number of infrastructural projects.
Councillors voted to approve the budget despite major concerns from a number of councillors over a 3.3 % increase in the commercial rates for business.
The budget was approved by a vote of 28 to 22.
