An investigation is under way into a fire at the site of a former industrial school in Artane, north Dublin.
The fire caused extensive damage to the building, which was being used as a storeroom by the Artane Band.
The blaze broke out in a former church on the grounds of the old industrial school at around 7pm yesterday.
Six units of Dublin Fire Brigade worked to bring the fire under control.
However substantial damage was caused to the derelict building and its roof was badly damaged.
Local TD and Minister for Lifelong Learning Seán Haughey said the fire may have been started deliberately.
The building is believed to have stored memorabilia.
