An Bord Pleanála has given Arnotts the green light for a massive redevelopment in the centre of Dublin.
The €1bn project will be on the site of the Arnotts and Penneys department stores.
Planning permission has been granted subject to 26 conditions, including the preservation of several protected buildings in the area.
The project is expected to create 5,000 jobs when completed, and around 1,000 during construction.
