Staff at Hibernian have voted for industrial action following the company's announcement that it is to shed 580 jobs from its Irish workforce.
The members of the Unite union have balloted for action, including one-hour stoppages and non co-operation with proposals to transfer the jobs to India.
The union says it wants to begin negotiations with the insurance company's management to try to find what it called creative solutions in a bid to maintain the jobs in Ireland.
