Dublin City Council has announced it will enter mediation with McNamara Construction over two stalled regeneration projects.

Councillors were told that both sides have agreed to this instead of legal action over the regeneration of sites on O'Devaney Gardens and Infirmary Road.

McNamara Construction signed an agreement for these public-private partnership deals and the result of the mediation should be known by end of this month.

The council has also announced that under-bidders have now been officially approached in relation to the St Michael's Estate and Dominick Street projects while the developer will proceed with another site near Sean McDermott Street.
