Upcoming ballot for TEEU electricians
Friday, 27 June 2008 11:37The Technical Engineering and Electrical Union is to begin balloting its members in the coming weeks for strike action in the electrical contracting sector.
The union has begun a series of information meetings to discuss a legal challenge by a newly formed employers' body to a pay agreement for the sector.
The TEEU says it will ballot members for strike action against employers who refuse to pay a cost-of-living increase, which it says has been due since the start of April.
