Talks between unions and management at Dublin Airport are continuing at the Labour Relations Commission in a bid to avoid threatened industrial action at the airport next week.
Unions had threatened to take action including a ban on overtime and a work-to-rule over a number of days in July in a row over pensions.
However, SIPTU's airport spokesman Dermot O'Loughlin said he was optimistic a resolution could be found to prevent Wednesday's action.
Mr O'Loughlin said he expected sufficient progress would be made today to avoid the action going ahead.
