An error by life assurance company Friends First has resulted in annual policy statements being sent to the wrong people this week.
The company has informed the Data Protection Commissioner and the Financial Regulator.
Friends First has written to 512 customers apologising and saying the risk of fraud is very small.
The customers involved had pension and investment funds.
The statements included names, addresses, policy numbers and the value of funds.
Friends First said it has now communicated with all customers involve.
