The body of a man has been recovered from the Inny River near Ballymahon, Co Longford.
He has been identified as that of 52-year-old Seamus Delaney who was last seen at his home in Ballymahon on Sunday.
Mr Delaney's body has been removed to Mullingar General Hospital where a post mortem examination will be carried out.
