A man has been rescued in Dún Laoghaire Harbour.
The volunteer crew of Dún Laoghaire's RNLI Inshore Lifeboat was contacted at 10.10pm last night and launched from the East Pier.
A member of the Dún Laoghaire gardaí had dived into the sea and was supporting the man in the water with the aid of a single lifebuoy.
Both were recovered by the lifeboat and brought ashore at 10.22pm where they were transferred to a waiting ambulance and brought to hospital for treatment.
